Please bring a laptop or tablet to create an MRP for the EMAC resource your county or entity can provide. If you have any outstanding reimbursements you may need help with please bring any documentation you have as well.

WHY: The South Carolina Emergency Management Division is hosting a two-hour workshop for local, state agency, and National Guard representatives to develop new or update existing Mission Ready Packages (MRP) in support of the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC). MRPs are specific response and recovery resources organized, developed, and trained prior to a disaster. Your MRPs enhance the timeliness of state response and mutual aid.
Training: During the workshop, attendees will be introduced to the EMAC process, ways to expedite deployment, and critical reimbursement milestones associated with post-deployment.
MRP Development: Assistance will be provided to organizations updating existing MRPs or developing new MRPs. Existing and example MRPs will be provided for modification during training.
